A cable made to deliver the warmth, harmonics, and sustain of your acoustic with precision and clarity. Monster Cable Acoustic Instrument Cable Features:

  • Multiple gauge high and low frequency wire networks for accurate, natural sound reproduction
  • Precision Time Correct windings for more accurate sound reproduction
  • 95% coverage copper-braided shield rejects RFI and EMI for a lower noise floor and increased resolution
  • MicroFiber dielectric on all conductors for faster transients and greater clarity
  • IsoTec vibration technology further reduces handling noise
  • Extra-flexible Duraflex outer jacket for superior reliability and cut resistance
  • Striking natural wood grain connector design compliments the natural wood look of most acoustic instruments

I was unsure if these cables would make a big enough difference in my tone/sound. Sure enough, they did and for the better. Smoother quality and better response. It seems they make a slight 'pop' noise every once an awhile and I havnt figured out why. Worth the money if you value an upgrade to your acoustic performances. Why doesn't Monster make these in 8 inch for those of us that have pedals to link up?? It makes sense to complete the chain thru and thru.

Brilliant cables

I was skeptical of Monster cables in general. I was using a medium-quality cable with my acoustic guitar/pickup and never thought that it was the weak link in the chain. Well someone I play music with occasionally used to work for Monster and I asked him - are these things all hype or is there something to it? He was a believer. He said that Monster figured out what parts of cables different frequencies travel through and balanced them accordingly. I decided to give a Monster Acoustic cable a try.

Now I'm a believer. The Monster Acoustic cable added way more than I'd have imagined. With it, my rig sounds:

1. Louder. Definitely get more overall signal from the passive pickup.

2. Warmer. It sounds more like an acoustic guitar than previously. All of the sudden there are low-mids.

3. More complex. I'm getting overtones I wasn't getting before.

4. Clear as a bell.

I'll never skimp on cables again.

Worth every penny

I was the biggest skeptic about these cables, thinking it must be overpriced marketing and hype. Boy was I wrong. My friend, who is a sound engineer, told me that aparently Monster figured out what part of the cable carries the various frequencies and balanced their cables accordingly. So I tried it.

I had been using a generic guitar cable and the difference with the Monster is obvious. My acoustic guitar sounded instantly warmer and fuller. My bandmates notices instantly too. The other guitarist in the band decided to get one and his guitar sounded a world better too - and he had been using a relatively expensive cable before.

So why on Earth would you use a cheap cable with your expensive guitar and amp? Worth every penny in my opinion.
