I've read articles about how cords don't matter because the are all relatively the same, well those may not all be so correct after all. I use rotosound bass strings with this cord and the sound is really booming and warm the strings were very noticeable but the cord brought it to a whole new level. I would recommend this to anyone.

I bought this cable at the end of the first year I started playing bass. Over 4 years later it still works. Does it sound better than a crappy cable? yeah. Does it sound better then other decent cables? maybe. All I know is, I haven't had to buy a new cable in 4 years.

These cables sounded astounding at first. However, at the very first show I played with one the tip broke off in my bass. I thought it was just a lemon so I took advantage on the lifetime guarentee. I did this three times, each one with the same result. I ended up returning it for store credit.

Doesn't live up to the hype at all.

It's a bit on the pricy side, but if you're getting serious in music, then you'll want this.

I got luckly and got it pretty cheep. When I switch from the 6' Ernie Ball Instrument Cable Straight - Straight Black to this 12', I was amazed. Suddenly my bass could sustain longer because it would still pick it up as it faded.

I've not unleashed this things full power yet though because broke my bass amp and am forced to use a guitar amp until I get it fixed.

I own the 21 foot version of this cable. Very good cable. Monster cables are always good quality cables and this is no exception. Before I bought this cable I was actually using a normal guitar cable. This cable handles the frequencies much better. The cable is pretty thick since it is heavy duty construction. It does get in some tangles every now and then but if you keep it wrapped properly it will stay straight while you're moving around. It is a little bit expensive but it's worth the money, plus it comes with a lifetime warranty. Overall I'd give it a thumbs up.
