GREAT SOUND! About 3-6 db gain from the cheep cables. More low end punch and more high end fidelity. The plastic molded end will never come unscrewed and the wires will not be shorting out. These are the only instrument cables I use now.

I purchased two of these cables in 20ft and several in shorter lengths over a year ago. I have been replacing 10 year old cables that have been fixed numerous times and was looking for a high quality name brand cable that offered excellent sound and construction quality. I decided on these cables and have been very happy with my purchase. Not only do they appear to be high quality, they are very neutral sounding and noise free. I feel this is an entry level professional cable. This cable series is good enough to be used professionally on stage or in the studio but is not the same quality as more expensive Monster Cable brand or other high end cables. These cables probably seem high compared to the standard cables usually found in music stores but I feel these are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to upgrade their sound from basic or old cables. Definitely please and will buy again.

So far so good. The three Monster cables that I use have not let me down once. Nevertheless, you've gotta love the lifetime guarantee, which makes these things totally worth the price! I also dig the color-coding capabilities: this really helps with setting up my gear. And for what it's worth the cable looks cool too. For me there was no noticable improvement in clarity or tonality whatsoever, but I had quality equipment to begin with. I'm very satisfied with Monster!

I have had this cable since 2006. it never let me down. Lifetime warranty is the best. Mine however did finally die a few days ago. The angle went out. Hundreds of hours of playing, lots of shows and thousands of hours of recording with this thing. It's jacketing makes it silent. But free replacement is the best. Don't pick anything else.

I love these cables, they are simply the best out there they have great looks, they have great sound, and they have a lifetime guarantee!!!! They also are really not that bad for price. I mean sure you can get some cheap cables for like 7$ but my first cable was a monster and I'm not regretting an extra $ for all the cables I could ever use, and the best sound for someone who wants a great value. Overall one of the best cables out there and prob the best value to.
