I can't even tell you how disappointed I am with this cable! I decided to buy a Monster Cable because they are a huge brand and I figured you couldn't go wrong. I was wrong! The cable started to short out on me after just ONE WEEK, and I only play 30 minutes or so every day. The only reason I am sticking with Monster Cables is because of the lifetime guarantee, but if they keep getting bad, I will try Planet Waves cables!

I'm really a drummer but I play guitar on the side. I got the 21 footer and what can I say? It's a cable and it works. I've had it for almost 3 weeks now and there's no shorts in it yet. But I think it's a really good deal though.

I purchased two of these cables and the both have gave me shorting issues and hum sounds. every time the cords were adjusted, i would get noise. However, they did have nice sound the times they didn't act up.

I replaced all my guitar cables with these a year ago, which is about 12 cables. I have never had the first problem. They seem to have a nice clear sound and come with a good warranty. I do think you can get better cables, but these are the best for the money. Yes, I would buy these cables again.

i gave this product average ratings because it doesn't do anything or reproduce sound out of the ordinary. i buy these cable for the warantee. no receipt is needed if you have a problem. just take it to the shop you bought it from and they will give you a new one. i've replaced all of my cables because of this. i'm not going to stay monster cables are better or worse than other brands. i'm not sure, but i do know that all cables will eventually fail, and you want to have these because when they do, you can get a new one.
