This unit will not remove noise (clicks, pops, crackles) from the circuit caused by ceiling fans, bathroom exhaust fans, etc. I noticed that when playing, my amps would make noises mentioned above when my wife or kids were turning on lights or fans in our house. This would occur even at my drummer's house. So, after some research I decided to buy this unit. Not a complete waste of money, just a VERY expensive surge protector. If you are having issues with noisy amps, please save yourself the money and simply find another circuit to plug into!

Before I owned this device, my home studio was littered with hum and hiss between my monitors, my computer, mini fridge, and tube pre's. Now that I own this device hum and hiss are things of the past, even running solid state processors through power strips, to the "Power Pro 1000". I expected reduction, but this thing eradicated noise. I am definately going to purchase another for my amps in my adjacent sound-proof room and couldn't be more pleased. This is a "must have" for seroius and accurate mixes.

The power at my place is aweful. I used to hear a lot of noise through my amp, and occasional pops and clicks through my GNX4 due to mini surges. Now the sound is super-clean! If you want clean tone, you've gotta have it. I can't believe I've lived without it!
