The space is well used but the quality is poor. The outside strap buckles broke after a few weeks and then a few weeks later the zipper broke. Thats with going to 3-4 gigs a month. Too bad because it was the right size.

I've had my Musician's Friend MB-6 6-Space Microphone Bag for almost 2 years now, and I have used it every week, twice or three times a week and it has held up very nicely. I carry everything in there! 7 mics, 7 mic cables, 3 instrument cables, 2 speaker cables, 1 power cable and 6 mic clips. I will agree the bag is a bit cheaply made, but as long as you don't manhandle it, it'll last for a while. The only thing on mine that's starting to show signs of wear, is the handle, so I simply carry it on my shoulder instead. Definitely a good buy!

MB-6 Six Space Mic Bag just continues to fall apart! The cheap foam used to hold the mics is way too soft. It reminds me of cheap furniture foam. After less than a year of once a week use, the foam is shedding all over the bag. The outside clips broke in just 3 weeks and the cheap zipper shortly thereafter. On paper it looks like a good deal--it's NOT. Get at Gator GM-5B Padded Mic Gig Bag instead or a Gator hard case. It is worth the extra dough!

I'm not sure I want to know how they can sell this for this price(this week, anyway). The description doesn't give dimensions, so I was anxious to see if it was large enough for my cables and my laptop (for recording). The answer...it's huge, approx 15X11X9(d). The padding is fairly thin, and the overall construction isn't fabulous, but jeez - it's cheap! The partitions are movable/removable with Velcro. There is a padded partition which covers the interior and zips in place, leaving an upper space under the lid which will accomodate most laptops. Since my application is to record 4 voice harmony on a laptop, this becomes a recording studio in a bag, holding mikes, cables, a small speaker system, and chargers. What have you got to lose?

I have been using this bag for over a year. I host Karaoke one nite a week & store my mics in this bag. The convenience is great, it holds the mics securely, lots of room for the cords & our tip jar even fits inside. Cons: Zipper tabs kept coming off, finally lost one, probably could tighten the part on the bag with a pair of pliers, but why should I have to? I've used sweat-jackets, backpacks & dufflebags for longer this & never had this problem. The seam came apart on the upper cushion (lid?) & now exposes the protective foam padding inside. The foam that holds the mics is splitting at the edges. I use this bag maybe 60x's & we always store our stuff at the bar we work at (it rarely leaves the building), so I feel it should have held up better than this. I really like the bag, just wish it wasn't falling apart.
