I have 2, one for my Peavey the other for my Violin Bass. Of course you can find a better case for twice the money, but these cases have served me well for 3 yrs. I gig every weekend and havn't lost a handle yet like some others have complained about. If I ever do it would be simple enough to fix. I'm going to order a couple of the little brothers for my guitars.

Watch out, guys. I just want to say I bought this case for a Thunderbird Pro-IV (which I love) and it's too short. Most cases are to short for that axe. I read the reviews before I bought it and someone said his Thunderbird IV fit nice and snug but the T-bird pro doesn't fit.

I bought this case's cousin in tweed for a strat and was very satisfied. This case in black was much worse in quality, not so hot. The interior was too small for my fender jazz bass and Dean bass. I 'remodeled' the interior by moving the inner partition and recovering with new fabric to make it work rather than spend more for a more expensive case. This will work for now, but I am going to keep looking for a better value case.

You just don't get much better for the price of this case. I've had guys ask me how much it was because it looks great and when I tell them how much they almost fall over! They can't believe you can get a case like this for this price. I have a short scale p bass from SX and it has a 3/4 size body. It DOES slide around in the case but it is not too bad. I have a short scale Dean with a full size body and that fits better. The pocket is awesome, I keep a notebook, some cds and my headphone amp tuner, mp3 etc in there for whenever I need em. It did STINK at first but now that I've been using it for 2 months it smells just like I expected a guitar case to smell.

Also, I bring it to/from lessons and to/from band practice (in a basement, and in a bed room) and it is holding up fine. Latches are NOT theft proof but do keep it secure in the case when traveling.

I bought this case in tweed ... it looks decent, I do like the red 'shag' inside and it's nice and soft on my guitar. The leather binding on the outside of the case (on the edges) looks super cheap. I suppose once it got all broken in and scratched up it would look more 'vintage' but new out of the box it just looks cheap.

I've had problems with this case right out of the box - I play at church and haul it back and forth 3x a week for practice and services ... within 1 week the foam collapsed on the inside where the cutout is for the neck and now my guitar doesn't stay firmly in the case - it shifts all over the place. Also, if you close the case and look at the seam on the side it looks like something must be warped because the seam doesn't line up.

This thing doesn't scream "quality" by any stretch of the imagination. It's going back and I'm getting something better.
