I ordered this case for a Taylor Big Baby, and find that it's a great value for the money. It's incredibly sturdy and well made, and the only real difference between this and more expensive cases appears to be the lining. The shag is not quite as plush and luxurious as more expensive cases, but is still quite nice and will do just as good a job of protecting a guitar.

I've had this case for a while and it's still holding strong. I bought it to cart my Epiphone EL-00 to and from school in Boston and home in New York. It's made the trip a few times now and it's done its job well.

The lining is plush and my guitar doesn't slide around inside. I even dropped it the other day with the guitar in it and everything was a-ok. My only complaint is that one of the clasps on mine doesn't line up properly and if you pull on it you can undo it without flipping the clasp lever. Not a huge issue since the case is still completely functional without it. And also it's only a $50 case ya get what you pay for!

The case seems pretty sturdy overall. I wouldn't recommend throwing it out a window or using it as a flight case, but if you just need something to tote your guitar around in, I'd say this case is a good choice.

Just recieved mine today. Bought the Rogue 000 out of curiousity and bought this case to protect it (and any future 00 or 000 I might buy). Great case for the money! I paid a little less than they're listed for now, but it's still a good deal - heck, there's gig bags that are more expensive!!!! The locking mechanism probably sucks, but I don't care - never have or will lock my guitar in the case. I'd rather just have another latch or nothing at all. Anyway, IMHO, it's a fantastic deal. Buy it, you won't regret it.

We're talking about a guitar case. The thing is, you could spend a whole lot more money and you would still just have a guitar case. If your guitar is so valuable that you wouldn't trust it to this case, then what you really need to do is to buy special insurance for your guitar - because the odds of this case failing are a lot less than the odds of someone stealing your guitar or putting a bar stool through it.

Fits the Yamaha CG171SF Flamenco guitar perfectly, so perhaps I'm too easily satisfied, but that's what I bought it for and that and the cool tweed fabric for me move it up from average to a 4.0 for features. Also, the red plush lining has no odor.

Quality certainly is above average. I would disagree that it has "heavy duty hardware" - it surely doesn't, but it's fine for light use. Four gold color hinges, one keyed. I wouldn't put it in a cargo hold, but it easily will withstand local travel.

It's a good value.
