Protection not better than a thick towel. Very thin foam. Cheap materails and a waste of money. Rather tahn buy this, put the money towards a decent bag. Wouldn't you pay more to not have a ding in your bass?

It awesome. It takes it out of tune some times but it's good. Sturdy, easy to put in, lots of space for stuff. If you have the money I would recommend it.

This gig bag is a great buy. It's perfect for going places not too far. It has plenty of space for accessories like song books, straps, etc. Mine is about 2 years old and doesn't have a single tear in it. The only problem is it is slightly flimsy, making it bad for traveling. It is better for keeping dust and scratches of your axe. But if you are just starting out, this is your best option.

What can I say it's a gig bag. It saves me time and it fits my Ibanez SR300DX. Amazing for the price you should get one.

I was in need of a bag or case to protect my new bass guitar and once again I turned to Musician's Friend for a quality product...and as in the past, they didn't let me down!

Having had experience with gig bags in the past I wanted a well constructed, light weight product that was functional and this one has it all! The exterior is constructed of a durable material that should take the riggers of those weekend gigs. It has a velcro double handle similar to Fender gig bags and back pack straps that can free up your hands to carry other equipment. Inside it has ample padding to protect your rig and several pockets also with velcro closure as well as numerous smaller pockets for carrying other items. Of course it can't protect your guitar like a hard shell case but it will do a great job for you otherwise.

All in all this is a nice bag for the money! You can't go wrong with this one, give it a try! Thanks again Musician's Friend!
