The neck rest was about 1 inch too high so that to make the case close I had to balance the entire banjo on it and then have the top of the case press down on the rest. Obviously not right, so I took out the neck rest and will have to cut it down and reinstall. Don't know if it's a design flaw or just massively out of spec, but it doesn't inspire confidence.

If you travel or do anything other than safe guard your instrument at home, this may not be the best case for you.. Personally I wish I'd have spent more money and got an ABS case... (like one that covers my Strat)-- This one will not last for a traveling musician.... OK for the money, but won't stand up to airline travel for sure!
