I ordered one of these not really expecting much esp. for what I payed. Well I surely expected more than what I got. The first time I went to open it, one of the zippers just came right off. Rather than ship it back at that time I said w/e and decided to use it anyway. Well, not much to my surprise the other zipper came off when I zipped it up, stranding my guitar in the bag... Needless to say I sent it back. They sent me a replacement and it has held up for the 1 time that I've used it so far. For the price you can't really go wrong, as they are decently padded, but if you value your instrument, don't be cheap and get a real hard shell case for it. I got this for my $300 ibanez so I really don't care if anything happens to it.

There are a LOT of gig bags on the market, most of which are overpriced and under padded.
I've got 7 or 8 of these gig bags. It's padded well enough that you can lean it against a wall or door, accidentally send it slapping to the floor with some force and have absolutely no worries about your instrument taking any damage. I've had it happen s dozen times as well as some harder spills without incurring any damage.
The material is strong, the seams have been stitched well and the zippers are good quality. The straps and handles are well made and very well stitched also. The pockets hold quite a lot of material from cables to sheet music to a moderate sized effects processor.
Of course I would be happy if it had thicker padding but it is right around the point of manageable. Thickening it up too much more would result in it becoming overly bulky with an instrument in tow.
Every so often, I see these on sale knocked down to 20 bucks and I nab a few. I have a large collection and actually prefer these over my hard shell cases as they are a bit heavy and cumbersome. If you're a bit of a collector like myself, I urge you to keep an eye out for the sale price and when it surfaces, snag enough to shelter at least half your collection if not the whole thing.
Next time these babies go on sale, I'll be investing in another half dozen.

I bought two of these about 4 years ago for my vintage Hohner LP copy and my Austin LP style electrics. They are wonderful. Tough - stiff outer material, thick - stiff padding, nice inside linning, heavy zipper, roomy inside, and lots of pocket storage. What a deal!

I purchased this bag back when it cost a lot more than it does now. But it was WELL worth the price. The bag keeps my Dean EVO all snuggly and cuddly and there's significant extra storage for all your other "take along" goodies. It's classy looking and extremely well made. I feel proud carrying my guitar around in this bag. I got the black one with the brown trimming to match my guitar.

Acoustic Tweed Gig bag

As gig bags go, this one looks good, is very well made, heavy duty zipper is nice too. I prefer hardshell cases but needed something to protect my Takamine Folk cutaway and this case fits nice and snug. I read the other reviews and like they said, it's got good padding but it's not a hard case. That suits my needs perfectly as I don't take this particular guitar out of the house. I chose the Tweed model and am very satisfied with the product and you can't beat the price.
