I just received the case today as a replacement for the Epiphone LP case, beautiful in design and workmanship however the 56 Gold Top Epiphone is too long. Great support from customer service.

I wrote a review on this LP case once. This is a great case so don't get me wrong. My Gibson Les Pauls fit just fine in this case. However, I just recently purchased the ESP LTS EC-401 with a Floyd Rose. The EC-401 has the Les Paul shape but it is a little taller than a real Les Paul so it will not fit in this case without using a little force to get it inside. Because of that... don't get this case for your EC-401 or EC-1000 guitar. Do get it for your Gibson Les Paul.

I purchased this case for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. The guitar will not fit this Les Paul. The Epi is 40.5" tall (no modifications). The case will only fit a guitar that is 39.25" tall. It would not fit this guitar even by stretching and pushing the top. Some reviewer say the guitar fit, and some say it does not. I guess it is a QA issue. All I can say is it would not fit my guitar so I had to return it and buy an Epiphone case.

I own a Gibson LP Custom and a Gibson LP Standard. Don't believe the reviews that say that LP guitars don't fit in this case, they fit just fine. My LP Custom came with an authentic Gibson LP Case when I bought it but my LP Standard did not. The sales guy recommended that I order this case. For the price, I took a chance and ordered it. I was very pleased when It arrived. Now comparing the Musicians Gear LP Case to the authentic Gibson LP Case, well there is very little difference in strength and quality. I am very happy with it and I highly recommend this case to anyone needing a case for their Les Paul.

I have two of these cases. I keep my Agile lp copy in one and my epiphone Les Paul Jr in the other. Both fit in the case perfectly. The cases are as tough as more expensive cases.
