great little rack

I use this mixer stand for my rack mount stuff. It has held up great for the few years that I have had it. Great investment for the beginner or someone looking to tidy up.

I was looking for something to put a lot of racks I have in and have access when needed to them. This stand does just that. PROS: It does what it is suppose to do. Great price. Makes moving a full load of racks easy with wheels. Sturdy for home/studio use.

CONS: You have to buy square cage bolts for it as they are not included. (Another 45 dollars or so to fill them all). The caster locks don't work that well. Would not use this stand for the road.

If you are on a budget and need rack space. This stand works.

This one is good for home studio use. It does not have a weight rating, which all racks should in case you want to mount an amp. The wheels are really crappy, I don't think they will be able to handle any road use at all.

Mine fits perfectly. Quality, while not exactly built to withstand a monsoon, it IS good enough to withstand the rigors of a Pro studio that is in almost constant use. (and some of the bands I record are not very gentle with the equipment). Anyhow, if asked, I would recommend this to anyone looking for this type of rack unit. As an aside, this unit uses the standard rackmount clip/screws. Not sure what others use, unless it's sheetrock screws and superglue.>
