Great stand except for the shelf is not compatible with extensions that fit standard music stands - used for wider music (i.e. several pages taped together). The edges of the shelf are curved backwards for some reason. NICE FEATURES: Height adjustment can be set very low (excellent for drums); strong, foldable base. Great stand for the money.

I just got this recently from another vendor. This thing is sturdy and I think it can hold a pretty heavy guitar tabs book. There aren't a lot of features since it's just a music stand. The base can be folded and the top portion can be detached. So it's pretty portable. I have two complaints however. While it's sturdy, the back of the metal top has some rough edges. Secondly, it's a little too expensive at this price.

I bought this stand a couple of weeks ago. I love it. It's sturdy, goes way tall, is great looking on stage, and folds up small. Unlike the standard stands that my other band mates have that all have a big iron base. The stand is very stageworthy! No heavy base needed. The tripod feet are great.

I own this music stand, and I had bought it at my local music store a few years ago. I am very happy with it. It is very user friendly with many adjustable parts to make you see and read your music. The only disadvantage is the metal in the stand. The adjustment knobs and stand for the stand is great, but the stand where you place your music is pretty cheesy. Still a great buy for any musician.

I love this stand! I have had one for about a year. I mainly use it at church. It is so sturdy. I would rather have one of these than the old metal band music stands any day. Great part is, there are no welds to come lose. The top comes of and the bottom folds up just like On-Stage speaker stands.
