I got this recently to replace a single X stand for my Korg SP100. When you need to play hard, you need to play hard, and this is a lot sturdier.

Assembly is fairly easy, but make sure you understand that the lever on top is meant to adjust the quick lock before starting. The stand is heavy, but folds up nicely, and held my weight (190lbs) for over 15 seconds, so It can handle anything you throw at it. Great stand for the price.

Very heavy steel, probably 40 lbs total weight. The UPS guy lugged it to my door and looked rather exhausted. Rated up to 400 lbs, in other words it'll carry your heaviest keyboard (and two average sized guys).

Construction took about five minutes, all the few parts are color coded. Handle at the top allows adjusting the height, very convenient.

Now to the "sturdy" claim. If this fell off the back of my truck and hit a car, it would be just fine. In fact, I'd worry more about damage to the car, this thing is a beast. Could probably survive being tossed down a mountain.

Overall I rate this perfecto!

This is an awesome stand, capable of supporting a lot of weight, and is solid and free from wobbles. Play as hard as you want. The draw backs to this stand, however, are the sheer weight of the thing, and the restricted leg room due to the dual X design. Lugging it around all the time to practices and gigs is not fun, nor is smashing your knees up against it while you play. Having said that, this thing is still bada**. Mine supports a large 76 key board, and on the second tier, a wood shelf which supports an old groovebox, a digital 8 track, and two small monitors. Even piled up with all that it does not shake or wobble, and it's held up with all that weight for more than a year. Awesome.

I purchased this stand a few weeks ago. It isn't assembled when it's shipped but assembly is fairly easy. It is extremely sturdy. It doesn't move when played on heavily. I love it and wouldn't hesitate in purchasing it again.
