I got one of these for my son. We had it around a year before the cheaply made metal hardware broke. He was happy with the playability of it and I was happy with the price. If you play a lot and play hard, stay away from this pedal. You get what you pay for.

I bought this pedal as my first double pedal, and for a while it was good, but now it is starting to fall apart. I was playing it and the screwy thing on the spring tension fell off! I highly suggest getting a different pedal if you have the money!

well i got this pedal for my birthday, and have been playing it quite enthusiastically for a while. i have noticed a few things. first, the slave pedal gets slightly stiffer just before it hits the drum head, making the feel slightly different from the main pedal. if you are playing uneven beats, the chain tends to slack quite often. but the main thing i noticed is the beater angle: i have played a few pedals, and this one's beater angle is just to damn far back. the only option is to have it about an inch from the head. this takes quite a bit of getting used to. also, the main has no plate, but there is velcro underneath to hold it in place, if your on a carpet. all in all, its good for the money, but there are pedals way better than this.

I do not know why everyone bags on these pedals. I changed the springs on mine and I can say that these pedals are very competitive to higher ended single chain pedals. I still prefer my DW5000's, but these are a great practice pedal. For the money, you cannot go wrong.

I played these on a buddies set...They would not stay in place, they slid around the entire time and i can barely kick doubles so i cant imagine how bad theyd be for a speed metal player. On top of that, after every song i had to reach down and turn the left beater around cuz it wouldnt stay in place, just not good pedals...im thinkin of buyin the sound percussion doubles
