I bought these because I wanted an all black set for the band I was in specifically because of what kind of theme we had going on stage. I was impressed by the way these stands looked with an all black drumset and all black cymbals. However, I had many issues with the drum stool falling down and I'm 5'3" and only 110lbs... I also had problems with heavier sized cymbals (22" Pitch Black Zildjian Ride) on my stand and the stand would slowly fall down from the chosen height I tightened it at. The foot pedal is garbage. I once again gave Pearl another chance and sadly they failed me once again. Never again... I am sticking to Gibraltar Hardware and leaving Pearl's entire line of whatever they sell, long behind me. Forget it. It's not worth it unless you're going for looks and don't mind constant readjustments.

After gigging for 30+ years, these lightweight but durable stands are a blessing for portability when you're playing bars and casuals every weekend!! They look great and go well with my black drum kit AND my V drums!! The throne is a bit entry level for my liking , but all in all, you will love the ease in transporting these stands and save your back as well!!

the stands are amazing, i have been using them for about 5 months now and have had no issues with them, they are great, the pedals are not the best on the market but they are great for beginners and great for the price, i have to say they are the best quality you can get for the price, and the same with the throne, its not the best feeling but again for the price its perfect
