BEST RACK EVER MADE

You cant beat this rack. I bought a drum set and it only came with shells. I spent hours trying to figure out how to mount every drum individually. I knew then that I needed a rack. I bought it a few months later and have never gone back. It is extremely sturdy. Dont have to worry bout a thing.

Greatest Rack ever

After a long time of researching and talking to local drumshops and drummers in Phoenix, AZ I went out and finally bought a curved rack and I most say that I absoulutely love this rack. I love the square tubing design compared to the standard tubing other hadware companies make. I have a huge kit and after putting everything on it I was blown away how it came out. Best invest ever for any drummer looking to get rid of those stands and switching to this great rack. I took off the cymbal arms from their stands and any stand you have this rack will accomidate you in everyway, and your imangination is put to the test to see how creative you can get on putting everything you own onto this rack. Absolutely amazing

pearl's racking'em up

I have owned my rack for a little over a year now and I love it. This rack is very easy to set up and tear down, and it holds anything you can put on it. My set up right now includes a five piece pacific set with a mounted low/ floor tom, two larger sized crashes, my ride, a couple chinas, a small zil-bel, and a few others, With all This on it the thing does not budge, nothing slips or moves, and because of the "set and forget" clamps there are never problems of trying to remember where things go. Now I only have a few complaints about my rack one is that the outer leg likes to slip if you move the rack, but that's no problem just use a permanent marker and mark the leg or line up your arm and memory clamps together. The other small complaint is that the bars are NOT 36 inches across on the curved rack, they are 52 inches in length. But its still amazing and you will not regret buying one of these

Awesome rack, with minor issue

I am a huge fan of the square/curved bars. They WILL NOT SPIN on you due to this feature. Unlike many other cylindrical bars on other racks. The only problem is that the legs are cylindrical, so the width of the back legs can slide. But, that's minor and pretty much unavoidable (how else can you mount the bars?) To those who say it's not capable of "double bass", just buy 2 Pearl L-Racks and stick them together (I've seen it before).

Another WINNER from Pearl

I have played drums for over 20 years, and have always had kits 7 pieces or more. Generally always single bass with d.pedals. Have been there, and done that, with the stand thing. The more you have, the harder it gets. Even the sturdiest of stands, have to be set just right to avoid tipping. The Pearl Icon (curved) solves it all. Am using an 11 piece kit now, single bass, and alot of toms, and cymbals. As soon as I got the 3 pieces set in place, I could tell it was a winner. Very solid, sturdy, leaves nothing undone. With my larger kit, the only change, was to switch out the standard PCX100 clamps with the PCX200 (tilter) which are rock solid, and DO allow for much greater positioning.

Pearl Icon rack = two thumbs up, and then some. If you have the cash, and a medium or larger kit, and are tired of the limitations and issues that stands can cause, RUN don't walk to buy one.
