I got this key with a snare drum I bought and it works. A key is a key no matter if it's a Pulse, or this overpriced one. Get whatever cheap key you can. I have no name keys that do the same job. Don't let Pearl get extra dollars out of you just cause their name is in big Letters and it has a fancy design.

I have been playing drums for 6 and a half years now, and my first snare was a steel shell Pearl that came in a pack with that tuning key. After about a year, the key stripped, and I have well over 20 keys around my house. I have never stripped another. I would have to say this product is crap.

This drum key is great. Today I tuned and took off head with it quick. Its easy and it is great for fine tunning. Good buy for the price. Ohh also it is a good quality metal.

This has never given me trouble before. I like it. But it is as good as any drum key. It doesn't matter what one you get.
