Ninja Bearings Duo Deck Direct Link Adjust Click Lock Beaters Beater Stroke Adjustment

The Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive is a bass drum pedal that was engineered to create the most seamless link between the player's musical ideas and their execution on a bass drum. Whether seeking to deliver lightning-fast blast beats or deep, rock-solid grooves, this Pearl pedal offers the adjustability to maximize your playing in any style.

Play a Demon Drive and the first thing you'll notice is its smoothness and speed that comes through the use of ultra-precise hardware components. Self-aligning spherical bearings are used to insure the footboard and Direct Link Drive are always in perfect alignment, and special super high speed Ninja bearings on the axles all work in perfect sync to create one of the smoothest and fastest kick drum pedals on the planet.

The most unique feature of the Demon Drive pedal is Pearl's exclusive Duo-Deck, the world's first convertible footboard. Through a simple adjustment, the Pearl Demon Drive pedal can be adjusted from a traditional shortboard to a longboard pedal in seconds, offering a slightly lighter, quicker feel that is the preferred setup when speed is a necessity.

This drum pedal includes the world's first two-position Beater Stroke Adjustment and two-position Direct Link Adjustment. Both adjustable features allow the player to create a slightly lighter or heavier feel of the pedal depending on their preferred setting. Adjusting the Duo-Deck in combination with the Beater Holder and Direct Link Adjustments yields 8 possible Pedal Configurations, allowing the player to truly create their ideal drum pedal configuration.

More key features include a Click Lock Spring tension system that prevents the tension knob from loosening. An Adjustable Traction Plate, which has aluminum traction dots that are fully adjustable to vary the amount of slip or grip for your playing. Its footboard height adjustment capability enables drummers to loosen and rotate the footboard to desired height. And finally the Pearl Eliminator Demon comes standard with a road case to protect it from the wear and tear of travel.

  • Duo-Deck longboard—shortboard to longboard pedal in seconds

i played these at my friends house, he has a lot of money so he could afford any pedal. he bought 2 of these for his double bass kit. they played like crap. He waited a month trying to figure these things out until he switched back to his y axis pedal. seriously, these pedals are not worth the hefty 320 dollar price tag

The Best pedal in the world

When I bought this pedal I was one of the first to own it in Africa. I bought it because I could convert it from a longboard to a shortboard. I really like how everything you could possibly want to adjust can be adjusted like: footboard height, beater travel distance and the feel of the pedal, heavy or light and finesse or power. This pedal is very expensive though, but for all the features, I believe it's worth it. It's smooth and tactile and is built like a tank so it won't let me down at a gig. It is simply the best pedal in the world.

Straight out of the box this thing was impressing me, which isn't easy. I've owned the dw 9000 double and single, the Yamaha flying dragon as well as the original Eliminator (I know , total gear geek). Its probably logical to compare it first to the best pedal on the market at the moment, the dw 9000. What I liked about the Demon Drive first off was that you could feel the footboard under your foot the whole time, at any given speed or dynamic level. When I say feel, I mean there is enough resistance to take just the right amount of weight off your leg, whereas the 9000's, however fast and responsive they were, are just a little bit too "not there". Secondly it looks amazing, the chrome slip plate compliments the rest of the pedal, it just looks like its flying at 300bpm even when inanimate. The speed of this thing is made easier to take advantage of because you can always FEEL precisely where you in each stroke, which for me is perfect because I like to do alot of fast doubles and triplets on my pedal. I would own one of these over any other pedal on the market today. Period.

Not What I expected

Ok I fell for the hype. My Pearl 2000C pedal is way better. The feel of the pedal is not like they hyped up. I tried the settings right out of the case and they were terrible. I have been messing with this pedal ever since and with no luck. The price is steep for a pedal that so is not worth it. I should have waited but I fell for the hype.
