I just got this stand and it is awesome. Definitely an improvement from my old Tama stand. This stand is so soft and smooth, just like the pedals. It's very quiet too.

I have been lusting for this stand for years and I finally went ahead and got it. This stand does not disappoint. It is incredibly solid, and the action is so smooth I don't even fell like I'm pushing against a pedal. The cams do make a significant difference in the feel. The black one to me feels like a normal stand would, and then it progresses up to the red one that feels a little quicker and stronger when the cymbals make contact. The powershifter board also has a noticeable feel difference. It sort of feels like its change how much the footboard weighs, if you can imagine what that would feel like.

Overall this stand shines in every aspect, I have no regrets in buying it.

This is the best hi hat stand i've ever used. It is so adjustable and very heavy duty. I love pearl quality. Great stand. Highly recommend it.

Man! I own it and I must say, this hi hat stand is by far the best stand I've ever played with. Pearl hardware is known for its universal products and durability. I am totally a pearl hardware guy by far and I really mean that. There drums are awesome as well. I admit it does take a minute to get use to with the double chain drive. But with one alteration, this stand is as smooth as it gets.

This hi hat stand is amazing! One person said that the middle pole will break when pushed too hard, that is false I have stomped the crap out of it just to test and and no problems. It is very sturdy and is extremely adjustable. This stand is simply the best!!
