OK guys, this pedal is sweet; I've owned for just about a year and Iv'e gotta say it's really great. it's got heaps of sweet features such as the PowerShifter (foot board adjustment), DuoBeat beaters (double sided beaters) and the Aircraft Quality drive-shaft. Yes, it's aircraft quality; it says so on the little sticker. Look, just try one, you won't bother with anything else, and yes, it's pearls best selling duoble.

A good sturdy pedal, with a very nice response on the right beater, however; the left pedal has a slight delay that needs to be compensated for. It's nothing a little bit of tweaking can't solve. In all, it's a great deal.

I got this slave conversion kit from a local music shop, and paid way more money. It has a very solid frame and footboard. One advantage over my last double pedal is that the 2 beaters are equal distance from the center of the head, and so they have the same response and sound. Before you buy any double pedal make sure that is the case. I think this pedal is great value because you dont pay for a lot of extra "features" that you dont actually need. It is very adjustable and helps me to bash craniums in a meallic onslaught. Go Pearl!

I have heard about this pedal and like all other pearl pedals this one really gives an excelent sound. I'm definatly going to buy this once I get enough money. 10 stars perfect
