Well I have used this pedal 1 year and 8 months now and it functions just like when I bought them. It is really sturdy and its speed didn't fail me. They're extremely smooth and fast, I've had no problems or issues with them. I play extreme death metal and this pedal took all the abuse. I am really satisfied with this pedal.

Good pedal, but it fusses. I'm around six feet tall and, after extending the pedal's drive shaft as far as it'll go without coming loose, the pedals are still too close together for me to feel comfortable. I may just play with a wider stance than most people my size, as I have not heard many complaints like this from other P122 users, but it may be something to consider. Aside from having to readjust myself due to my previously stated problem, there is an amount of slippage coming from the left pedal so I have to readjust the pedal pretty much every time I readjust my seating. The Pearl add on to reduce slippage does not attach to this because there is no clip where the left pedal would attach to a drum hoop. Also, the foot boards are kinda small and my feet are larger so heel-toe is pretty hard if you're in the same boat as I. It'll squeak, but they all do. All that being said, tweak this pedal a bit and it's almost as good as ones costing hundreds more. Very fast, very smooth.

This is a Great pedal... for the money you spend. I have gotten a lot of feedback on these and have tried them myself, and was about to buy them... when I was playing it and the tension kept changing. No Kiding. I decided to buy the DW 7002 and in the months of owning it, the slave has never changed.(though it has to be looser to compensate for the distance from the beater)

I got this pedal not too long ago and it works great. I play a lot of metal, such as Lamb of God, Machine Head, and Slayer, and this pedal keeps up; it's smooth and fast. It's nice and sturdy too, so it can take a lot. The only complaint I have is that there's not really any grip to the pedal boards, which used to be a problem, but not so much anymore. Overall, it's a really great pedal.

I posted a review of this pedal about 2 years ago and loved it. I thought these pedals were pretty smooth and I really liked them, but I have been playing some DW 7000's and recently played my old pearl pedals again and I realized how bad these pedals actually are. They are mediocre. Dont get me wrong, this pedal is awesome if you are short on $, but I think Iron Cobra Jr. is a little better.
