When I got my piccolo snare, i needed a second stand. This one was the cheapest from pearl, so since I only buy pearl and yamaha hardware, i bought it. It's been GREAT for that use. My I've heard people say this stand's too low, but a beginner totally wouldn't notice, and for those more experienced, the lack of hight in your piccolo snare will make up the difference!

Overall, Good starter snare stand, and good for piccolo snares!

See, I have had this stand for 3 years now and have loved it; I just got up from my basement because the thing stripped! I know I have had it for 3 years but still, that really sucks. Held up pretty good for those years I'll miss it though.

This stand looks really small in the pic but once i got my drum SET i had to mix the bottom part of this one with the top part of the one that came with the set. It is just too tall at its lowest point to be placed behind a kit. Other than that, it's great.
