These tom arms from pearl are great! The locking system is rock solid, and I have had no failures so far. The tilting system is second to none. When you un-screw the top screw, it is able to move in a 360 degree motion side to side and about 180 degrees smoothly. It is extremely smooth and very easy to position toms, remote HH stands, etc. I reccomend this product over the TH1000 arms. The extra range of motion is really worth the extra $.
