I replaced a cheap OEM clutch with this one and it is a different world. It stays tightly locked together, allows a decent amount of cymbal movement, and holds on to the rod far more effectively than my old clutch. Highly recommended

This is a very great hihat clutch. I have been dealing with a badly made hi hat clutch for years and when I switched it was astonished at either how horrible my previous one was or how great this one is!

It has a lock on the bottom so it will never shift or change on you. just turn with a drumkey! It never slips or fidgets and the felts are also amazing.

I have a cheap drumset and the Hi-Hat clutch that came with it wasnt that great and the bottom screw would loosen up. I saw how this had a tightner on the bottom screw to where it wont fall of from the vibration when you hit the Hi-Hat. Now I don't have to worry that my Hi-Hat cymbals will fall off the clutch in the middle of playing. I love it, BUY it.
