I've had one of these for about three years now. I have had almost no problems. The only problem I ran into was it wouldn't work with Line 6 one spot L6 extension cables. I use Godlyke daisy chains and extension cables and they work. I have 15 pedals daisy chained and extensioned from this thing. They all work properly. And I still haven't come anywhere close to using 1.6 amps of juice! It would have been better if the plug was in the back or on the side.

This is the worst power supply out there. It takes up at least twice as much room as the Dunlop Brick. It is cheaply made and the cables aren't flush when connected to the power box. I was trying to supply eight pedals - Boss (3), Line 6 (2), Arion, MXR, and a CryBaby. I was very disappointed when I turned the power on - the buzz and hum levels were ear-piercing, even with no pedals activated! When I tried to power each pedal separately I got buzz from even the Boss pedals, 60 cycle hum from some of the others, and the signal barely came through the Line 6 stomp boxes. Go with the Dunlop Brick or deal with the eye-sore of a surge protector.

I bought a cheap pedal board and the power adapter that came with it ran into ground looping problems and would buzz periodically through the pedals. This sucked through a delay because the buzz would perpetually get louder. I bought this and it really cleaned up my sound. I no longer get that 60 hz hum. It was a little costly but if you have hum through your pedal power supply this is a must have.
