Although I stick with patch cables for my pedalboard, I did pick up a Planet Waves 1/4" - 1/4" Straight Adapter for when I need to turn a female 1/4" jack into a male 1/4" plug, and it works great! This adapter is durable, provides a great connection, and produces no noise. The gold-plated connections also guard against the corrosion that other metals are prone to, and the double-insulated/double-shielded cables stop hum and triboelectric noise dead in its tracks! I own and use over 50 Planet Waves cables of various types for performing and recording, and they deliver an awesome signal! I think it’s a little expensive, but the way these babies lock in there's no way it can permit signal loss. I am a huge fan of Planet Waves products and will never use anything less anymore... I own quite a few of their different cables and I say THUMBS UP!

These are great! Perfect for pedal boards or just making all of those pedals neat and tidy. No More patch leads to trip over or get tangled up. Only concern is that they only connect effects with the inputs and outputs at the same height. You can get around this by just making one of the effects higher. Overall great product.

If you have a chain of Boss pedals you'll need the straight ones and your pedals will look all nice. Plus, the connections are very powerful in maintaining your guitar's full sound. The transmission is at its best. get 'em if you have perfectly aligned pedal input/output jacks.

I like to buy separate pedals instead of getting a combo system like and RP-6. This is perfect for linking my pedals together and not as messy as having 6 inch cables linking about 5 pedals together
