This is a necessary tool, it's seems pretty weak and wobbly but once you extend it and use it it's very solid. Works great overall.

This thing is very handy, although, I thought it would be a lot bigger, it's actually 6 1/2 inches long. The whole thing is made out of plastic, so it might break if you're not careful with it. The three legs can fold up so it can fit safely in your pocket if you plan to take it somewhere. I have an explorer, so I had trouble balancing my guitar out on the bottom, and I had to use a cd holder to balance it out, so keep that in mind if you plan on buying this, you know, if your guitar will be balanced evenly on both sides, neck and body. That's about it, I suggest this to anyone who has tried to change their strings while fumbling the guitar around in their lap, this makes things a lot easier!

It's alright. Cheaper than other head holders, but still overpriced for what it is. I still own one. It does it's job well. not the thickest plastic, but is sturdy with a neck on it. non-slip rubber feet. I'd buy it again if I lost it.

I bought this cause I was tired of just changing my strings in my lap. The floors in my house are carpet though... it doesn't work well of carpet and is pretty unstable. Which means it doesn't work for me. I've went back to doing it in my lap. Good Idea... didn't work for me though...

I am a long time fan of Plant Waves products. Rarely, and I mean rarely, do I evey not like one of their products. I love this headstand. It is sturdy, well built, compact and just damn great. I use it all the time from changing strings to cleaning to replacing parts like pickups, pegheads, etc. It has never failed to support my guitars needs. Put one in the cart. You won't be dissapointed.
