Using a Takamine dreadnought, I wanted an easy to use and stable capo. The first thing I noticed when shopping different types, is the tension placed on the strings with clamp-style capos. It differed among the same model and manufacturer. I stumbled on this capo and was surprised to find a capo where you control the tension placed on the strings. A huge plus for innotation, however the downside is the screw mechanism if you must make an extremely quick position change. I have not found this to be an issue however I have read reviews where this is mentioned.

My only true drawback is the headstock of my guitar is too thin to clamp the capo when not in use. It is small enough to fit in your pocket, however this is the only reason that I don't rate it a perfect 5. Small. Light-weight. Perfect innotation. It's hard to find something wrong with this clever device. Ned come through again.

This capo is Perfect. Unlike normal quick release capos, it allows you to adjust tension and prevents your guitar from going out of tune. Also, its much easier to adjust than a shubb and cheaper and lighter than a G7.

For me, i'm able to use this capo one handed. I store it between the nut and tuning pegs and when i need it, a quarter turn of the knob is all that is needed to loosen it from where i store it. I then put it where it needs to go, turn the knob, and i'm ready to rock, perfectly tensioned, in a new key.

This capo is nice for several reasons, nice and even clamp pressure, easily works with one hand, small, lightweight, durable. The only negative aspect of this capo is that it cannot close enough to clamp on to the head when not in use. It's also a bit slow if you need to move it to a different location rather than removing it. Otherwise it would be a straight 10

It exudes quality and feels real good in your hand. I have the silver one (less likelihood of losing it). It is a bit slow to adjust, but does so smoothly and evenly. What I don't like is that it throws certain strings out of tune with regularity. I have used 4 other brands/styles of capos and have never considered retuning a problem until I got this one. It is a definite flaw in what would otherwise be a nearly perfect product.
