It does what it says it does! If you want an all in one stringing tool, just buy this, it makes sense.

Amazing. I read up about it and decided the feedback was good enough for me to purchase. When I recieved it, i was a bit skeptical because of its plastic structure, hence the 4.5 in features. But this thing is absolutely great, a great deal.

The concept of this tool is second to none--absolutely brilliant. That's why I bought it. While it seems others have had a different experience with this tool, I had problems from the start.

When I used it for the first time, th peg winding part kept coming unscrewed. Now during my third time changing strings, the pin puller cracked and no longer does its job (that's after being stripped out and not working as well to begin with).

So now I have an excellent peg winder and wire cutter (this feature is absolutely amazing), which unfortunately defeats the purpose of the multi tool.

All told, I commend Planet Waves for an excellent innovation. Who knows-it may have been all because of user error. I loved the prodeuct, but it was short lived.

When you're changing a set of strings, this perfect little gadget will save you a ton of time. The best part is the wire cutter. It works better than most other wire cutters in my toolbox. I recomend this to anyone who wants to spend less time changing strings, and more time rockin out. GREAT PRODUCT!
