This is simply an incredibly well designed product. Very simple, very effective and pretty durable. It's made out of plastic but it's tough and unless you're smashing at it with a hammer for some inscrutable reason, it's not going to break on you. Just make sure you get a strap that has a strong end to it, as if it has a weak leather end, the cord will eventually wear it out and make it break. This is an excellent product and essential for any owner of an acoustic with only one strap button. I was recently at a Flogging Molly concert and I was at the very front of the crowd. When Dave King, the frontman and acoustic player, came out, I saw that he was using one of these!

This is a great attachment for anyone who uses a strap. I just got one for my mandolin strap and it has been very helpfull. I would recomend this to anyone.

Beats the usual acoustic strap system (how many of us have had our badly-tied knots slip, causing a nasty accident?). Added plus: you can easily use a favorite strap for your electric AND your acoustic--the strap-end part of this system easily attaches and removes.

It does everything it is meant to do. Don’t have to punch a hole in your guitar for another strap button, and don't have to mess with tying knots around the headstock. It makes everything easy and simple.

It holds up very well, and I love not having to struggle with pulling the entire strap over my head all the time. It's easy to put on and won't come undone if you bump against something. Very useful.
