It works kinda! But, it does have a design flaw. The plug is made of thick rubber, and when installed in the sound hole the edge of the lip sticks up, and catches my pick when I'am doing some agressive pick work. I have my Screeching Halt installed in a Applause AE 128 set up as a dedicated slide blues guitar(raised action, heavy strings, and tuned to a open G) Before the Screaching Halt I had to keep 8 feet away from my solid state amp to avoid feed back. And now I can get within a couple of feet of the amp, before I roll off the volume to adjust amp settings. I recently got a new Bugera class A tube amp, and every thing is wonderful and great in Valve Town. Zero feed back with the Screaching Halt installed. So in closing at this price it's worth trying for your particular application.
