Forget all the other high end speaker cables with dinky cheap lever connectors made God knows where and their much thinner cable. I play bass. The "top" premium brand (MONST**) actually got HOT on my highest powered rig. Talked to several boutique techs about pricey custom cables then found these. Switched to these and they stay cool meaning MORE watts actually get to the speaker. These cables have geniune Neutrik connectors which are the best. I am switching all my speaker cables to these cables because unlike the claim made by the other premium line, the Planet Waves speaker cables really ARE better. I have two of these cables used for connecting two bass cabs to an Ampeg bass head. These are the best speaker cables I've found. I can't imagine them ever failing. They look nuke proof. I've compared them to standard speaker cables and there is an obvious difference in tone and loudness. Also my amp doesn't seem to run as hot at high volume with these cables. I was going to get some custom cables made up and then caught a deal on two of these. They are well made using top quality materials and they come with a lifetime warranty. Planet Waves also makes a Neutrik to phone plug adapter which I also own. I can highly recommend these cables for high powered bass rigs. The cables are nice and pliable, yet have huge conductors. You hear more of what your amp puts out with these than with standard speaker cables. I saw Planet Waves in a whole new light after trying these speaker cables for a while. Pricey and worth it for sure if you play bass. THE BEST usually costs more and these cables are no exception, but if they were lost or stolen I'd have to replace them with more of the same.
