This case has cradled my 7-string bass all over the world. It has protected and served durably on hundreds of checked flights and still going strong. It's a bit bulky to carry on your shoulder, but I manage to weave in & out of airports with it on my shoulder rifle style....if you're at least 5'10 or taller that is.
