I am a percussion major in college, and I am required to play a great deal of different genres. These sticks make it easy! I use 739's with nylon tips. the laquer finsh feels so natural, the the drum stick soaks up a great amount of sweat, they are extremly balanced,the long taper make them more durable, the barel tip brings out a deeper tone on cymbals then any other I have played with. these are amazing drum sticks, I have used all of the major brands and these are the only ones that contain the features I need, to play what I have to play! I have used them ever since I have played percusion! pro-mark is a great company who makes a good product, if these things break, it is more then likly because of a lack of dynamics. I use to go through a pair a week, untill I had to employ dynamics. now I go through a pair every 6 monthes or so! I never leave home without them!

I've been using these since 1968. They are the best. I have had plenty of time to sort through them all. They will break with more aggressive styles of music, but it's worth it to get another matched set.

they lasted me about a month. i play about 2 hours every single day, sometimes more. i love them while they lasted.

This sticks are amazing! What else is there to say? They have great durability. But of course, I have the 2B Wood Tip version of these. But I can guarantee that these will work great for anyone! I highly recommend buying them to anyone!
