Amazing Sticks!

These were the second pair of drum sticks I bought at a music store in Green Bay and once i put them in my hands they felt extremely comfortable. They had the thin diameter I was looking for, easy to twirl, could toss them around as much as I wanted, very fast for playing, and I hope to be endoresed with Pro Mark 747 sticks. PRO-MARK 4 LIFE!

Ive tried just about every brand before pro mark, and I was fine with them..but pro mark just felt better to me..the balance is perfect, makes it really easy to change it up on the cymbal and easy to play fast..also the tips on these things are great!

Good Stuff...

I've been using the ProMark 5B Nylon tips for over two years, practically nonstop, and they haven't shown signs of letting up. The weight isn't as bad as you'd expect for the thickness, and at the same time they give you a humongous sound when you really start smacking your drums.

These sticks have shown incredible durability the entire time I've used them. I'm not exactly the most accurate hitter, so occasionally (as with most advanced drummers, I imagine) I hit the drum hoops during fills. The 5B's take it all in stride. Besides some minor shredding towards the top and the fading of the logo thanks to my sweaty palms, I estimate these sticks will last me a good year - year-and-a-half before I have to replace them again. Highly recommended for anyone. Especially hard-hitters.

For the record, I keep some Vic Firth's around as well for good measure; one that's thicker and longer than these are, and I've used them pretty close to never compared to these, and they're close to cracking... When my main pair breaks, which I don't see happening ANYTIME in the near future, this is what I'll getting again...

Beautiful Sticks

I have been using these ProMark Drumsticks literally all of my life. I have played around with the different feels and weight, balance, etc. and I have found my Heart's passion: The 2B ProMarks. I am convinced that ProMark is the best quality out there, and the stick are very nicely balanced and pretty lightweight. If you're aiming for very fast and effortless single stroke rolls, ProMark is the way to go. Personally, I use the ProMark American Hickory 2B sticks with Nylon Tips, and I love the way their sound they create. The sticks are pretty durable for all types of playing, and I play very hard and very loud, and the breaking doesn't come for some time. Recommended to anyone that cares about quality.
