I liked the way it looked, and thought it might be a great stand. But found the side to side sway intollerable. I added the second teir, and found parts not deburred end caps that had to be taken out with a hammer and chisel. Missed powder coating on a couple spots,(plus gobs of paint runs) and the worst was the design on the teir, that would only work if I sawed off the vertical adjustment peices and redrilled more holes. Might work if I was teiring a 8" high bottom board. The tilt adjustment was not that acurate from side to side. Just gave up on it........ I wanted to use my 76 Yamaha stage keyboard and the Yamaha tyros3 on top. Would not trust this stand with my expensive keyboards. I have numerious Quick-Loc products, and swore by them until this one. It would be Ok I guess for a single teir....

I own two Monoliths and have used them every since they came out. There's nothing better. Extremely sturdy, can't collapse, great for pedal positioning, sets up or folds flat in two seconds, and it looks good on stage. A great design that's destined to become a classic.

This stand has absolutely the fastest set-up and tear-down time of any I've ever used. Just turn the main supports at right angles to the rear spacer and it's ready - reverse that after you unload it, and it's ready to pack. The width is not adjustable, but no big deal unless you're using something narrower than a Nord E261. There is a bit of lateral wiggle, probably less with a heavier keyboard (I use a MO8). The instructions that came with the optional 2nd tier were a bit confusing as they showed the attachment screws on the side of the main supports instead of the bottom where they actually are. Again, not much of a problem (for me, anyway)because the tolerances are so tight that the screws are useless. I had to assemble it with a rubber mallet so it won't be coming apart. Fast set-up, LOTS of room for pedals, and pretty descent stability - all things considered, a pretty good buy.

A rock!

I love this stand!!! It doesn't break down as small as the Apex or any X-stand, but it takes a minute to set up, and is an absolute rock with any keyboard on top of it! That's what I was looking for as I really just wanted to feel sturdy! Great value for a low relative price!!
