This is a very stable stand and well worth the money. I also purchased the additional tier for this stand. Right out of the box I noticed that the metal used in this stand appeared with many surface defects. Lots of welding pits and scratches that should have been sanded before paint. The unit was not the glossy polished unit like the one in the pictures. Mine arrived with many scratches that had already begun to rust. As I carefully unfolded the unit one of the locking pins sheared off the first time I locked it into place. I was able to repair the pin myself and without much difficulty. I think this company simply needs a little quality control on the production line. Over all the stand is very sturdy and I like the add-features. I especially like the fact that this stand will raise to 39” inches. If you are a tall person this is your stand. I would have given this stand higher marks if it was not for the condition mine arrived in. Who knows maybe mine was a scratched up prototype that made it out of the warehouse by mistake.
