I usually use Regal Tip-Quantum 9000's for their extended length..(I'm 5'6" with a very-well extended kit)...but the last time I needed sticks there were no 9000's available...so salesman mentioned I should try the Alex Van Halen Signature model because they were approximately the same length without the huge girth of the 9000's...and I do have to say...I like them! My drum heads like them even more(approx 1/3 less weight)! So I would have to say I really do recommend these for those like myself using longer sticks.

was looking for 747's but they stopped carrying them ,sells guy said try these .well i love them i'm not a fancy drummer but more of a pounder!!!,yes they dent easy, i break alot of them but couldn't go back to the others. m.m.b.p.p.2009

I've used these sticks in rotation with my others and while I like them, the don't fit in my DW bag. It's worth making sure, since if you can't zip it up, your stick will end up in the parking lot.

These sticks are awesome. I got them back in May and love them. They are balanced and well made. The only problem I had with them was that they are so long that my wrists would hurt after playing for a long time with them. But overall they are nice. They have a good rebound and strike the cymbal nicely. This stick is a good choice!

I picked up these sticks the night of a show and played them for half of the show, and some Vic Firth Extreme 5As for the other half. They don't feel nearly as solid as the Vics, and they dented very fast, but these sticks have AMAZING balance. I can fly around the drums without wasting energy on reaching anywhere. Barely feel like they are almost a foot and a half long, plus I can get good volume without playing with stick heights to the ceiling. Over all: Great feel, questionable quality, worth a try.
