Made from only the finest American Hickory, with the famous Regal Tip finish, feel and balance. Joe Calato developed the original nylon tip drum stick over 40 years ago. Regal Tip was the first company to install their own dry kiln so that they could control the manufacturing process from the kiln drying of the wood, to the matching and pairing of sticks.

Calato was also the first to upgrade the quality of the sticks on the market by grading them for straightness of grain, weight, color, and warp, and then match each pair.

well, at first there sticks where amazing! there EXTREMELY lite. well, i've had them for 1 week, and one them has broken, both manage to slip out of my hand like butter. I don't even play everyday, and when i do its normaly only for about half an hour. great in the beginging, then become very disapointing. I'll probly use for shows, because i throw my sticks.

I've tried Vic Firth, Pro Mark, Zildjian drumsticks in various models to try something new, but I always find myself coming back to the Regal Tip 5b nylon sticks. It's a good all around stick with a balance of performance and just the right amount of punch. I don't worry about the sweat factor and the finish on the sticks or durability(even while hitting hard with them and using a lot of pops against the drum rim). Control techniques and experience curb that. ;)

I use the regal tip nylon jazz and I must say these are the greatest sticks I've played with. I have been playing for a few years and these sticks never break. I like the sound they make and they are very small but still have a loud sound. And I also miss the old green logo :(

My sticks broke within the first few weeks. The finish is nice until you work up a sweat and then it just becomes slippery. I've had better luck with vater and pro mark but personally I use hot sticks. Their the best!!
