Good stick. Works as advertised. Tip sound may be a tad bit drier on cymbals than its wood counterpart, but pretty darn close. A wood tip sound with nylon tip durability. Pretty cool.

Sounds ALMOST like a wood tip (close enough). Plays like a nylon tip, because it is. Lasts like a REALLY GOOD QUALITY nylon tip, because it is. I got a couple pair of the "Jazz" size just to try 'em. This is my new stick. Period.

I like these sticks alot! They stood the test of time for its size. They didnt break for quite a while and they make your cymbals sound great. The balance to the stick is also pretty nice. Well, thats Regal Tip for ya.

I enjoyed very much the sound and feel of the stick. The sound is right between wood and nylon. Like most nylon tipped sticks there is a continuing problem with the tips popping off. I have found this to be true with all makers. A shot of super glue is an easy fix (if you can find the tip). I did not test the sticks at the store but realized once I got home and played them that one of the pair was not straight. I will still purchase these despite these issues, I'll just have to check them over before leaving the store.
