These are the best replacement heads I've ever had. They sound and quality is amazing. It gives the conga and more natural warm sound instead of the ringy off sound you get with just normal heads. It also feels great on your hands. Especially if you play salsa. They are a little expensive but its totally worth it! I have them on my performer series LP Congas; however, I had to adjust the ring on them..this was a huge problem, but its worth the trouble. It does fit your normal LP style congas though.

Remo Nu Skyn heads are the best heads on the market! period. I used to play real skin when I first started and thought nothing could beat it. I tried Evans synthetic heads out of curiosity a while back. got tired of real skin being so sensitive to weather/temperature. I thought the Evans synthetic heads were good but limited in tuning. It was time for new heads. I decided to try Remo Nu skyn about a month ago and man I'm telling you don't waste your time with other brands. Remo is hands down the king. These heads are so responsive!! Tuned high or low the sound is the real deal. I'm a Remo fan now. Nu Skyns are a little pricey but well worth the extra bucks. If you can't afford the nu skyn try the tucked fiberskyn 3. they are a little less expensive, but I bet they are the joint too! Will try them next. Maybe. cause the nu skyns are so incredible I might not try anything else!
