Once upon a time I was playing an EMAD batter head on my bass drum and i thought it was the best head in the world. But, after i bought a new set this head came on it and i was blown away. Paired up with an evans retro screen head and its amazing! it can be tuned low and has a nice punch. BUY THIS HEAD TODAY!!!!!!

This bass head is a great price for such an awsome sound! I used to use evans but this blows it out of the water. Wth this skin alittle loose it will sound like a cannon no exaggeration!! Overall unmatched buy any at the same price.

This nice head has a super duper feel to it, I love the vibrations going through my entire body and in the end it leaves me feeling good and warm inside after playing. I reccomend this to anyone looking for a good time.

I have been playing drum for about 4 years and all i can say is that the powerstroke 3 is the best head for the bass drum. it gives the bass drum a nice powerfull thump that it needs I used to use the emad which i wasnt a big fan of that then i broke so i swiched to this head buy this

This Head is a very gerat head. has a very smooth sound to it. i use it for jazz and fusion on a 20 in. it doesnt have the greatest projection, but you could always use a wood or vinyl beater for it to make it punchy-er. it has great presence and tunes low very well. its got a bigger and more open sound than you might think for coated. I also put some muffler pads on the inside, but thats cuz i like it really short. Overall, a great jazz, funk, fusion.
