This is an amazing sounding head for both resonance and as a batter head. I use it as a batter head and it sounds so good. I've used the Evans emad and the Aquarian superkick 2 heads, both are amazing, but this head gives your kick drum a nice punch. I definitely recommend the smooth white PS3 to anybody in the market for a new kick drum head.

This head is probably the best possible resonant head for your bass that you'll ever come across. It gives your bass alot of attack and powerful low-end. If you have port-holes put into it, it really makes the notes well-defined and staccato. If you want to get rid of the Remo logo on it, just use nail polish remover, and that'll do the trick. Love this head!!!

I'm very pleased with this head. Great sound, wide tuning range, and it comes with a cutting template so you can make a hole in it for mic placement. Best of all it looks really awesome on my white silk Tama Starclassic kit.

This makes a PERFECT resonant kick drumhead! I thought about cutting the hole with the included port, but I put the port on the left-hand lower side, and took the kick drum outside and tuned it. It sounded SUPER DEEP with our Powerstroke3 clear batter head and a small pillow. I also put two Moon Gel's (just under the underlay) on the inside of the head, truly amazing! (I tuned the head medium-tight on a 22" by 16" bass drum.) Definitely get this head, you won't be disappointed!!!
