Before buying this head, I didn't really think that buying a new bass reso would really make a difference in my bass drum's sound. The only reason I bought this was because it looks way cooler than my old bass reso especially with the port hole, but I was wrong. This reso really picked up the boom and punchiness of my bass drum. If you think your kick doesn't sound very good, isn't loud enough, or isn't punchy, this is the right drum head for you.

I've had this head on my left kick drum for about a month or 2 and i LOVE it. Combining it with the Ambassitor head on my right kick drum compliments it but still gives me a different sound that i'm looking for...I'll never use another bass head.

I have had this (the 22" version) since July 2007, and it is pretty beautiful. My bass drum sounds nice and low and warm, and it looks awesome against the chrome finish of my Pearl Export 6-piece. And if your like me, you love seeing it vibrate A LOT when you see it played (i have it set really loose to get this look), and this looks beautiful when played. This is a great resonant head, and it should be on your set.

I love remo, and this is much better than a stock resonant head. I need very little if no muffling depending on the room, especially with a good batter head. If you're looking for a new reso, get this one.
