this is a really great pad i have the 8 inch and i love there was a point where it sounded better than my snare( not much of a bottom head)and it was ok but when im using it as a pad and i play a song like Black parade , or holiday when i play 16 teenth notes the rim gets in the way and i end up just hitting the rim and that and that 8 inches is a little small

i got this a little under a year ago. i love it. its feels more like a drum. the is a little too high but its good. its also got a nice pop to it. im considering a new head. I LOVE it

I bought this pad about two weeks ago and I havent been able to stop playing on it. It's great and it dos'nt have any noise. The rim help alot because you can make a new noise out of the rim.

I have had this pad for about a year. It hasn't broken but some of it's features have dulled down. The foam ring on the bottom has sunk in and it rattles when I play on a table because it touches the center of the bottom. It is a bit on the loud side, so I use a Pro Mark snare Xpad for quieter practice. Overall, its good for the price.

The pads very squishy and does not give me enough bounce for trip strokes. Thats ok but what really got me going was the rim. It was just a little bit too high so when i would do some fast rudiments I would hit the edge and randomly go out of control. Not worth it> Get a vic firth 1 sided pad instead. NO RIM!!!!!!!!
