Construction. Particle board with high quality laminate on outside. Metal threaded inserts for fasteners, and metal brackets. (better quality than typical assembly yourself particle board furniture)

There are only three parts to this stand. Heavy side legs (about 1" thick), and a thinner board that goes across the back. This board mounts to the two legs with metal brackets. The two legs mount to threaded inserts in the underside of the FP-7 (I didn't even know there were inserts in there!) There is also a headphone hook (included), and the ability to mount a CD drive to the underside of the FP-7

Boards are laminated on all sides, so it looks good from any angle. Good fit, perfect color match to FP-7. (at least the black one is)

Stability is good even on carpet, although I am going to mount a hidden bracket behind it to the wall to ensure my toddler can't pull it over.

I am very happy with the stand. Only gave it bad marks for value, as I think it is a bit pricey.

I tentatively bought this stand for my FP-7 as I wanted something that would look pretty good in the house, be stable, and allow me to sit at a bench while playing. There are no reviews or detailed descriptions to be found, so here is mine:

The stand is heavy plywood (about 1" thick on legs), and probably constructed of particle board for the thinner piece that goes along the back. All of the boards are covered in a fairly high quality laminate. This is nicer than IKEA type furniture. The stand consists of only three boards, and actually bolts to the bottom of the piano (FP-7 in my case). It would be completely wobbly if it did not attach to the piano. There are threaded inserts in the bottom of the piano made to accept the stand. The brackets between boards are fairly well designed with robust gussets. One assembled, it is rock solid. It also includes a hook hidden on the underside to hang headphones off of. There are also instructions on how to mount a CD drive if you so choose. (Who knew the piano had all of these threaded inserts on the bottom?)

Mine is sitting on carpet, so it has a front to back wobble to it, but the great thing is I can attach a hidden brace to the rear of the stand to tie it to the wall. A regular scissor stand is always going to wobble on carpet, and it is just too dangerous to have an unstable weight like that with a little one in the house.

Overall, I think it is a good product, just too expensive for the materials it is made of. It was packaged extremely well, so you probably won’t have to worry about scuffs or dented corners. I am keeping mine. I hope the review helps.
