Kudos to the SKB design team...this little gem is light, sturdy, affordable - my amp is happy in her new home. Other manufacturers should take note of the replaceable insert feature. Couldn't give it 5 stars though because the back cover dosen't fit tightly.

This is a very compact & portable rack, excellent for shallow-depth rack gear when you don't need all the extra space in the back. As with all SKB products, it's build solid. My only issue is that the edges around the opening at the back of the rack can be sharp - I recommend smoothing them with a file or sandpaper.

I purchased the SKB Roto-Molded XRACK2 Shallow Rack just over a year ago, to hold two rack mount tuners, which I use to to set up and tune 7 guitars and 2 bass guitars for every show. After over a year on the road with a National act, this case has more than done its job!On several occasions it got knocked around (as you expect on the road!)and the contents were kept safe!! And I even keep 2 extra instrument cables in it, so theres plenty of room!! I highly recommend this product!!
