I really can't see these cases breaking down at all they should last you for a long time if not for the rest of your gigging life. The hardware case fits 3 heavy duty tama roadpro boom stands, tama roadpro hi hat stand, pdp snare stand, djembe stand, cymbal arm, a microphone stand, roc and soc throne, pedal, cowbell, stick holder, and even has little compartments for drum keys and hi hat clutches. It is a bit of an art to packing it but so far it has been great. The wheels really work great in the snows of Michigan, just don't try lifting it yourself. The cymbal case is very nice as well with pads to divide the cymbals up so they aren't touching each other. It fits my 2 18" crashes 20" heavy rock ride and standard 14" hi hats perfectly. If you have a ton of cymbals (I play drums not cymbals) you will be able to fit them but it won't have enough pads to divide them from touching. The cymbal case also has a little pouch for your hi hat clutch and and or drum keys ect.

After years of use my Anvil cases were shot. The SKB are far superior to my old and will last me the rest of my drumming days for sure. They are a little expensive but the quality makes up for it. I have never seen better stuff and with their lifetime warnity they can't be beat. If you want the best protection for your gear, buy SKB and forget about the rest.
